Understanding sizing can be a challenge! We recognize that figuring out what suits your body best often requires trying it on. We’re delighted to offer exchanges for any reason. Please note that we do not provide free returns.
While research indicates that free returns can boost sales, it also reveals an increase in orders being placed without careful consideration of size guides. This surge leads to more outgoing and returned shipments, impacting our environment. The most effective way to minimize our environmental footprint is through mindful shopping. We encourage you to consult our Customer Service team for sizing advice before making a purchase.
Prevention is crucial! Be sure to consult our sizing chart – many who exchange express that they wish they had reviewed it before their initial purchase as it turned out to be the right size. It’s important to understand that all swimwear stretches after the first few wears when wet. If it feels a little tight initially, it’s likely to become the perfect fit after getting wet a few times. This is especially true for pieces without adjustments – the crop straps should initially be slightly short, and the bottoms should have a snug fit around your hips.
Additionally, ensure you address your tan lines before deciding if a particular cut suits you or not – it can make a significant difference!
For returns, we accept unworn, unwashed, and undamaged items within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or Store Credit.
Faulty or Damaged Items:
While we sincerely hope this scenario never arises, if you believe your swimwear from Barr Body & Swim is faulty or damaged, please accept our apologies. Kindly email us at info@barrbodyandswim.com.au with your name, order number, and a photo of the faulty or damaged item. Our Customer Support team will collaborate with you to issue a replacement in the first instance. If that is not feasible, a refund will be provided.
Exchanges:
Aligned with your rights and obligations as a consumer, we gladly accept exchanges, provided you meet the conditions outlined below. Your order includes an exchange card, which you must complete and enclose with the returned swimwear. If you no longer have your exchange Form, please download, print, and complete the form by clicking this link here.
Exchange Conditions:
1. The swimwear must be in ‘as-new’ condition – unwashed, unworn, and unused with any tags or sanitary liners still attached (where applicable), free of any perfume or other substances. You are welcome to try it on, keeping your underwear on underneath and trying on after a shower, before applying any deodorants or creams. Each return is inspected, and if these conditions are not met, the items will be returned to you at your cost.
2. You must post a completed Exchange Form and the returned swimwear within 30 days of receiving your order.
3. The swimwear should be neatly packaged and well protected so it arrives in the same condition it was sent – this includes the their correct barcode labels. It is not necessary to send returned items in the gift box if it was purchased with a gift box.
4. Once you post your item back, it is your responsibility to check your tracking number to see when it arrives with us. Barr Body & Swim will not accept responsibility for lost or delayed items. If this is a concern, ensure you take insurance out on your return postage.
5. We will only accept one exchange per order. To clarify, we do not exchange goods that have already been exchanged.
6. While we aim to process within 48 hours, please allow up to ten (10) business days for us to process your return and issue your store credit or send your new requested item.

2. If you have an account with us, ensure your details are correct – specifically your shipping address and phone number.
3. Pack the swimwear back into packing bags, ensuring you have the correct label on the bag. Either reuse the original Barr Body & Swim package bag. Ensure you keep your tracking details and post to: Barr Body & Swim Returns, 3060 Quay South Drive, Carrara, 4211, Australia.
4. Follow your tracking to determine when the swimwear arrives at Barr Body & Swim (this is your responsibility, not ours).
5. If you are returning one item only, we will send out your replacement after processing your return. If you are returning two or more items, we will issue you a Store Credit so that you can purchase your new items at your convenience. You will receive an email from us as soon as this is issued. All items shipped for an exchange or using Store Credit from a return will be shipped via standard service. If you need it shipped via Express, please contact our team at info@barrbodyswim.com.au
6. While we aim to process within 48 hours, please allow up to ten (10) business days for us to process your return and issue your store credit or send your new requested item. Your Store Credit is valid for twelve months from issuance.
7. Orders placed using a Store Credit from a return will be shipped via standard post (not Express), unless you include a further purchase with your order, which we will then automatically upgrade to Express Shipping.
Refunds:
Barr Body & Swim does not offer refunds unless goods are received in a faulty condition and cannot be rectified.
Cancellations:
Barr Body & Swim does not offer cancellations – when you confirm payment, you are agreeing to commit to your purchase.
